The best sounding intervals in worship music are 3rds, 6ths and 10ths.
Piano is an instrument that naturally lends itself to beauty.
While acoustic guitar communicates a sense of rawness, authenticity, piano creates a sense of beauty, scale & wonder.
3rds sound delicate & pleasant, but can sound cheesy if overused. Oftentimes, it's best to bounce between 3rds and another interval like a 4th or 5th before going to a 3rd.
6ths sound elegant & beautiful, and can be used consecutively without issues many times.
10ths sound powerful & melodic, particularly with a 1 - 5 - 10 chord voicing. They also can be used consecutively without issues.
