Another way of thinking about major scales is scale degrees.
(VERY important!)
Instead of saying:
C - D - E - F - G - A - B - C
We could also say:
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 1
You can use scale degrees with every single major scale.
